About this role
Capital One Brand Creative is looking for an experienced Associate Creative Director to bring our brand to life across different audiences, products, channels, and types of communication. You know how to partner with Creative Directors to define the work and guide Art Directors and Copywriters to deliver the end product.
Partner with Creative Directors and Project Managers to define intent, brief teams, and deliver marketing that cuts through the noise. Lead creative development in support of Capital One’s credit card business across Performance Marketing channels including social media, video, and SEM.
Be a creative leader amongst your team of Art Directors, Graphic Designers, and Copywriters that includes a mix of full-time associates, contractors, and agencies. Collaborate with marketing strategists and internal business clients to positively influence marketing strategy and the customer experience.
Use evidence and data to ground your creative decisions while demonstrating expert knowledge of digital marketing channels and social media advertising trends. Present and influence with a convincing style to increase buy-in and open the door for new opportunities for your team and department.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
- At least 3 years of multi-channel digital marketing experience on client-side or agency
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 3 years of experience leading creative teams or bodies of work across cross-functional creative teams
- At least 5 years of experience in copywriting or art direction
- Candidates must provide a portfolio of their creative work for consideration

- Present and influence with a convincing style to increase buy-in and open the door for new opportunities.
- Mentor and build expertise in copywriting or art direction with peers and team members.
