About this role

ECP is a leading conference, exhibition, and event management company delivering high-quality projects across Africa and internationally. The Junior Graphic Designer will contribute to the development of compelling visual content that elevates client experiences and brand visibility through innovative branding, marketing, and design solutions.

The designer conceptualises, designs, and produces high-quality creative materials for conferences, exhibitions, publications, digital platforms, and corporate branding initiatives. Work includes brochures, signage, logo design, corporate identity documents, and venue branding.

Daily tasks involve developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, branding materials and website prototyping. The role requires preparing rough drafts based on an agreed brief and reviewing final layouts to suggest improvements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ professional graphic design experience
  • Experience within events, exhibitions, conferences, advertising, or corporate branding environments advantageous
  • Experience managing print production processes advantageous
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills
  • Strong layout and typography skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise, design, and produce high-quality creative materials for conferences, exhibitions, publications, digital platforms, and corporate branding initiatives
  • Design brochures, publications, advertising and marketing materials, signage, logos, corporate identity documents, and exhibition branding
  • Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, branding materials and website prototyping
  • Prepare rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
  • Review final layouts and suggest improvements if required
