The Creative Director leads creative strategy and concept development for key brand and product initiatives at NIO. Responsibilities span campaign development, co-branding projects, short video content, key visuals, offline experiences, and digital page design. Day-to-day work involves guiding projects from initial concept through final production while maintaining visual consistency and quality. The director manages internal creative teams and external partners to deliver work across social, e-commerce, and physical touchpoints. Close coordination with brand, merchandise, and marketing groups ensures efficient execution.

The position requires strong aesthetic judgment to unify brand expression across channels and formats. Candidates must demonstrate proven ability to lead full project cycles independently while applying modern tools including AI-assisted creative production methods.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of creative experience, preferably with brands, 4A agencies, creative hot shops, or lifestyle brands
  • Mature integrated creative ability with capacity to independently lead complete projects
  • Strong aesthetic judgment and unification skills for brand, visual, and content expression
  • Familiarity with social media, e-commerce content, and offline experience touchpoints
  • Excellent pitching, communication, and cross-team collaboration capabilities
  • Team management experience with ability to lead teams through project execution
  • Familiarity with AI creative tools and new content production methods
