Town Hall—a fast-growing digital media agency serving higher education and mission-driven brands—is seeking a Media Planner, Paid Social to serve as the strategic lead for paid social campaigns across an assigned portfolio of clients. You’ll thrive here if you’re equal parts strategist, analyst, and communicator. Connect paid social performance across awareness, consideration, and conversion goals to real business impact.

Develop media strategies for paid social channels like Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and TikTok grounded in measurement frameworks mapping to client objectives. Conduct daily monitoring of ad campaigns, including structure, targeting, creative, and budget optimizations. Manage pixel and conversion event tagging via Google Tag Manager.

Collaborate closely with media buyers, paid-search strategists, and creative teams for flawless execution and cohesion across touchpoints. Partner with Account Directors to present strategies and performance narratives to clients. Prepare reports and Google Looker Studio dashboards visualizing cross-channel KPIs.

Our midtown Manhattan office requires in-office work four days per week (Monday-Thursday). Town Hall, part of Situation Group, partners with organizations like Harvard University and PBS. Stay ahead of trends with AI-driven planning and privacy-centric measurement.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in digital paid media planning and execution including campaign and audience management in Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads Manager, and Reddit Ads Manager
  • Strong foundation in performance marketing analytics, including conversion rate optimization, GA4 analysis, and pixel/tag-based measurement via Google Tag Manager (Google Looker Studio experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to connect marketing KPIs to business results—lead volume, quality, cost efficiency, and revenue impact—with experience translating data into narrative insights and actionable recommendations
  • Clear, confident communicator able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Passion for innovation and ability to stay ahead of industry trends, integrate AI-driven planning, and adapt to privacy-centric measurement
  • Higher education and/or nonprofit marketing experience a big plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop media strategies for paid social channels (primarily Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok) grounded in measurement frameworks that map directly to client business objectives
  • Conduct daily monitoring of ad campaigns, including campaign structure, targeting, creative, and budget optimizations
  • Define audience segments, identify opportunities for audience and creative testing, and recommend data-driven optimizations that improve efficiency and scale
  • Manage pixel and conversion event tagging via Google Tag Manager
  • Collaborate closely with media buyers, paid-search strategists, and creative teams to ensure flawless execution and message, channel, and audience cohesion across every touchpoint
  • Partner with Account Directors to present strategies and performance narratives to clients—connecting metrics to outcomes and recommendations with clarity and confidence
  • Prepare campaign performance reports, including formal presentation documents as well as Google Looker Studio dashboards that organize and visualize cross-channel KPIs
