Known is a modern marketing company pairing PhD data scientists with award-winning creatives to produce innovative work. We are looking for a Creative Director with an Art focus to lead big idea-driven creative across industries.
This role demands great strategic thinking, flawless execution, bold innovation, passion, and optimism. The Creative Director will oversee development of brand creative inclusive of TV, social, digital, OOH, and experience marketing.
Known is a hybrid workplace where most people work in-office part of the week while some work fully remote. The team is about 200+ strong and includes strategists, engineers, and expert research teams collaborating on cutting-edge projects.
This is a temp-to-perm position with a 2-3 month introductory period before converting to full-time with benefits. Known has earned top industry recognition including ADWEEK Midsize Agency of the Year and multiple Effies and Cannes Lions.
Requirements
- Great strategic thinking, flawless execution, bold innovation, passion, and optimism.
- Experience overseeing development and execution of brand creative inclusive of TV, social, digital, OOH, and experience marketing.
- Ability to tell stories visually on any platform.
- Proven leadership for teams, clients, and the agency as an innovative, collaborative, and hands-on leader.
- Experience developing and executing highly impactful creative approaches for clients across industries.
- Excellent cross-functional relationship-building skills in a fast-paced organization.
- Healthcare and Lifestyle/Wellness industry experience preferred.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating award-winning creative work and art direction.
Responsibilities
- Lead concept development and art direction execution of brand and 360 product marketing campaigns across TV, digital, social, and print.
- Actively oversee and lead a team of best-in-class creatives at all levels, mentoring them and developing their skills.
- Roll up your sleeves and get into the programs, mocks, and decks when needed, while knowing when to lead and when to help.
- Be both a leader for the team and a thought leader to stakeholders and collaborators from a brand and messaging standpoint.
- Develop a deep understanding of consumer target's mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors to inform strong empathetic and strategic execution.
