About this role

The VP, Group Account Director leads and operationalizes teams that profitably deliver work within a portfolio of accounts. They understand the agency revenue and profitability model, ensuring work completes within budget by project. They own revenue forecasts for the brand and negotiate budget needs while keeping management informed of account status.

Engage with senior level clients to develop ongoing relationships and identify needs for proactive responses. Lead longer term planning with a foundation of category knowledge to interpret market research into brand ideas. Oversee regular client status meetings to communicate project development and maintain alignment with objectives.

Train, develop, and delegate to the account team, encouraging growth for junior members. Ensure appropriate resource allocation and utilization across departments. Manage tactical plans and SOW while providing clear direction and feedback as team leader.

Monitor competitive landscape for strategic insights and mine organic business opportunities with existing clients. Network with Omnicom agency leaders to identify partnership ways. Participate in new business pitches and establish strategic client partnerships.
