About this role

AMZ Advisers is a digital media marketing agency focused on developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for the global Amazon marketplaces. As a fast-growing Amazon and eCommerce consulting agency, we are seeking a driven, self-motivated, and marketing-oriented Graphic Designer.

In this role, you will work with a talented team of copywriters, editors, project managers, account managers, and other graphic designers. You will take an active role in shaping the visual communication for our clients' digital marketing and advertising experiences, providing valuable eCommerce design solutions for a wide range of products and clients.

This is an English-speaking and writing position, with all communication with project managers and upper management conducted in English. Most of the content team is Mexican and speaks Spanish, and you are welcome to converse in Spanish with your teammates.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in advertising/marketing design and/or branding experience in an agency or in-house design department (freelancers with proven experience welcome to apply).
  • High proficiency using Photoshop for mockups, image retouching, color manipulation, and advertising design.
  • High proficiency using Adobe Illustrator for icon design, logo manipulation, and infographics.
  • Good typography and layout skills with a high attention to detail to maintain consistent branding and styling across all visual materials.
  • A strategic mindset to synthesize and communicate the client’s unique value propositions and the main qualities of their product.
  • Ability to read and comprehend English written copywriting documents and brand websites.
  • Spanish fluency is desired and will be needed as the company expands to the .mx marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Create gallery photo design (above the fold), including lifestyle photos and infographics based on product features and benefits.
  • Design A+ content (below the fold), producing images and photo content that aligns with the brand and concept in a specified template and resolution.
  • Execute storefront design (a separate website-type page within Amazon) using descriptive product copy to create on-brand images.
  • Work with a talented team of copywriters, editors, project managers, account managers, and other graphic designers.
  • Take an active role in shaping visual communication for clients’ digital marketing and advertising experiences.
  • Provide valuable eCommerce design solutions for a wide range of products and clients.
  • Read and comprehend English written copywriting documents and brand websites to identify main benefits and features for digital advertising content.
