About this role

Chime is seeking an experienced Creative Director to develop brand-defining campaigns that shape the creative vision and craft captivating narratives. This role executes innovative marketing strategies across TV, social activations, brand partnerships, and more.

You will champion bold ideas and creative approaches to telling Chime's stories, overseeing the end-to-end creative process from concept development to final execution. You'll collaborate with marketing leads to create integrated campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive awareness, consideration, and conversion.

This individual should be comfortable pitching bold, top-of-funnel brand campaigns while understanding the full marketing funnel. You will provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of art directors, designers, and copywriters, fostering an environment of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.

You will manage relationships with external creative agencies, production houses, and media partners to ensure high-quality execution. Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies will keep your creative work fresh and relevant, while inspiring commitment and pride in the organization.

Requirements

  • A deep passion for building brands with a results-oriented mindset
  • 8+ years in creative leadership, with at least 5 years in a leadership position building brand-level work
  • Deep understanding of advanced AI tools to support the creative process
  • Proven experience working in a creative agency environment, with a strong portfolio of consumer-facing campaigns including TV spots, digital, and partnership initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative concepts that drive engagement and brand loyalty
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a small creative team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and concepts to stakeholders
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with marketing leads

Responsibilities

  • Create a vision for the Chime brand that translates into powerful and authentic storytelling driving awareness and consideration
  • Develop and execute a creative vision for what our brand looks and feels like through integrated marketing campaigns, TV, activations, social campaigns, and partnerships across all channels
  • Champion bold ideas and creative approaches to telling Chime's stories and more deeply connecting with Chime's members
  • Oversee the end-to-end creative process, from concept development to final execution, ensuring alignment with brand values and marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing leads to create integrated campaigns that resonate with target audiences
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of art directors, designers, and copywriters, fostering an environment of creativity, innovation, and collaboration
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions, providing clear guidance, feedback, and inspiration to generate impactful ideas
  • Manage relationships with external creative agencies, production houses, and media partners to ensure high-quality execution of campaigns

  • Base salary range of $201,000 to $279,000, with potential for higher offer based on location, skills, qualifications, and experience
