About this role

We are seeking a creative and strategic Senior Live Events Designer to execute the development, design and delivery of world-class live event experiences. This role sits within a team of designers responsible for shaping immersive environments and ensuring flawless execution of high-profile events that inspire, engage and connect audiences.

Day-to-day, you will liaise with all teams across the live events space to create impactful brand experiences, with a specific focus on top-tier live poker events such as EPT. You will execute venue recces prior to events, generate impactful artwork from provided toolkits and visual identities, and create concise branding plans that ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role demands agility, quick decision-making, and a calm approach when challenges arise, while thinking beyond beautiful design to measure success by the story told and the emotions sparked. You will support the Senior Manager by working with motion and 3D to bring event design to life, push new ideas and modern design practices, and innovate new ways of player engagement.

This position offers the chance to build a reputation across teams as a facilitator and brand guardian of Live Events design, while building relationships with suppliers and ensuring projects stay within budget. Worldwide travel and work outside normal office hours are required.

Requirements

Proven experience in live event design and production, including beMatrix framing systems, LED integrations and artwork, pre-press, print production, and repro procedures.
Strong portfolio showcasing large-scale event design and immersive brand activations.
Expertise in design software such as SketchUp, Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
Deep understanding of event production processes.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills; a committed team player who is also a self-starter and manages their own time.
Adept at managing supplier relationships and cross-functional teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while balancing creativity with operational and budgetary discipline.
Desirable: Experience of scenic, motion, and environmental design; exposure to motion graphics, video, or photography direction; familiarity with content marketing and performance-led creative.

Responsibilities

Liaise with all teams across the live events space and beyond to create impactful and compelling brand experiences, with a focus on top-tier live poker events like the EPT.
Execute venue recces prior to live events to enable effective planning while progressing creativity and innovation.
Generate impactful artwork for Live Events from provided toolkits and visual identities.
Create concise branding plans and rollout of collateral for all live events, ensuring quality and delivery on time.
Support the Senior Manager Live Events by working with motion and 3D to bring event design to life.
Push new ideas and modern design practices, innovating new ways of player engagement.
Build a reputation across teams as a facilitator and brand guardian of Live Events design.
Build relationships with suppliers and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
