Account Managers support Senior Account Managers in managing all brand projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality communication products on time and on budget. They lead client status, develop project briefs, and coordinate efforts across project managers, creative, studio, and clients.
The role requires building relationships across Ogilvy Health’s vast resources and capabilities. Account Managers work fluidly with Advertising, Experience, Public Relations, Health, and Consulting teams to bring forth world-class creative solutions.
As trusted advisors, Account Managers guide and oversee the growth of Account Executives while contributing to superior outcomes for clients in the ever-changing healthcare environment. This role offers the opportunity to develop leadership skills within a world-class creative agency.
Requirements
- 2+ years related pharmaceutical/healthcare experience from agency, marketing and/or medical education account management experience
- Outstanding organization and prioritization abilities
- Working knowledge of all media (print, TV, radio and digital)
- For Canadian Accounts: PAAB and ASC understanding and basic negotiation skills
- Be a self-starter, willing to stay up to date in a fast-paced environment
- Financial management abilities - experience in building estimates and managing project profitability
- Meticulous attention to detail
- A service attitude
Responsibilities
- Support Senior Account Managers and Account Supervisors in managing all the brand's projects and know where projects are at all times
- Ensure delivery of high-quality communication products, on time and on budget, while managing and ensuring quality of services to clients
- Lead client status and manage day-to-day client relationship on ongoing projects
- Develop project briefs and coordinate efforts of projects between project managers, creative, studio, clients, etc.
- Review copy decks and layouts vs briefs and provide input to ensure we deliver our best work
- Support Account leads in managing day-to-day on accounts while ensuring positive relationship with clients and preparing proposals for new business or new ideas
- Ensure financial follow-up and billing requests internally, including budgets recaps and flag overages to Account Directors in a timely fashion
- Guide and oversee the growth and development of Account Executives as appropriate
