T&Pm, part of WPP, is one of the world's leading integrated creative and media agencies, formed by the integration of The&Partnership and mSix&Partners. We bring together content creation and distribution into single end-to-end marketing solutions for brands such as Toyota, News UK and Five Guys.
As Senior Account Director, you are the operational and client lead at the heart of our model, constantly toggling between long-term strategy and real-time tactical execution. You guide the big brand and commercial bets that build equity while leading the daily, reactive content engine to hack the interest graph and drive immediate performance.
You will lead a lean, integrated pod of &-shaped talent across creative, media, strategy, and production, operating at the pace of the market, not the org chart. Powered by WPP Open, our proprietary AI platform, you will turn insights into action in hours, not weeks.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract within &Accelerate, the operational brain of T&P's high-growth unit. You will help insurgents like Hawkstone scale and incumbents like Five Guys thrive by hacking culture, all while rejecting lengthy SLAs and siloed departments.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Account Director or equivalent client leadership role within an integrated creative and media agency.
- Deep fluency in both brand metrics (SOV, brand equity) and performance metrics (CPA, ROAS).
- Demonstrated ability to lead lean, integrated teams across creative, media, strategy, and production disciplines.
- Experience using AI tools or platforms to accelerate campaign delivery and insights (e.g., WPP Open or similar).
- Track record of managing high-growth or culturally relevant brands, from insurgents to incumbents.
- Ability to operate at the pace of culture, making real-time decisions based on cultural signals and data.
- Strong client relationship management skills, acting as a trusted advisor and partner in pace.
Responsibilities
- Drive the day-to-day client partnership at the speed of culture, acting as the trusted advisor for both big strategic bets and daily tactical sprints.
- Co-create the brief by anticipating needs and using real-time cultural signals and data to shape the opportunity.
- Lead a lean, integrated pod of ‘&-shaped’ talent across creative, media, strategy, and production to deliver high-quality, fully integrated work.
- Be a power user of the WPP Open platform, leveraging AI to deliver initial media and creative drafts in under two hours.
- Speak fluently in both 'Brand' (SOV, brand equity) and 'Performance' (CPA, ROAS) metrics to guide decision-making.
- Toggle between Strategic Gear (long-term brand and commercial bets) and Tactical Gear (daily reactive content engine) to find unfair advantages in-market.
- Motivate a multidisciplinary pod to produce exceptional work that delivers tangible commercial results.
