About this role

At TechnologyAdvice we help B2B tech buyers manage purchasing complexity by delivering trusted advice and connecting them with leading technology sellers. We are seeking an Account Executive to support ad sales across our B2B newsletter portfolio. The role focuses on linking advertisers with highly targeted technology audiences through our established brands.

You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to closing and growing accounts. Daily work centers on building a consistent pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and follow-up while developing tailored proposals that align with client marketing goals. You will also expand successful newsletter partnerships into broader multi-product opportunities.

This position offers the chance to develop full-cycle sales skills including negotiation, account growth, and client relationship management within a high-activity environment. You will collaborate with Client Success, Marketing, and Editorial teams while staying informed on industry trends to shape outreach strategy.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, prospecting, pipeline generation, outbound business development, digital advertising, or a related client-facing role
  • Proven ability to generate opportunities through outbound outreach, prospecting, and consistent follow-up activity
  • Motivated to build and grow a book of business within a high-activity sales environment
  • Interested in developing full-cycle sales skills, including pitching, negotiation, account growth, and client relationship management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and present solutions clearly
  • Experience managing multiple opportunities, sales activities, and follow-up timelines simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Sell advertising opportunities across our portfolio of B2B technology newsletters
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, close, and grow accounts
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and follow-up activity
  • Identify high-fit advertisers and develop tailored proposals aligned to client marketing goals
  • Build a deep understanding of each newsletter audience to position opportunities effectively
  • Collaborate with Client Success, Marketing, and Editorial teams to support campaign execution and renewals
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Expand successful newsletter partnerships into broader multi-product opportunities
