About this role

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Media Director to lead a CPG client's Omnichannel Media Planning efforts across multiple Retail Media Networks (RMNs). This role is pivotal in developing effective media strategies and buys that drive campaign analysis to achieve client objectives within a leading creative company.

Day-to-day, you will lead the development of media strategies and tactical plans, utilizing research tools, historical client data, and a deep knowledge of the media landscape. You will negotiate with vendor partners to secure advantageous rates and evaluate appropriate media opportunities, while monitoring buys in progress and arranging for make goods and credits as needed.

You will build strong relationships with clients, working seamlessly throughout campaign development and implementation, and act as a liaison between the media and account team to ensure project milestones are met. This role involves maintaining documentation of creative assets and costs across all internal reports, including flowcharts and buys.

This position offers the opportunity to be a key driver of innovation at both the strategic and campaign level, staying current with Retail Media Network offerings and researching new client opportunities. Requirements

  • Able to communicate clearly, thoroughly, succinctly, and in a timely manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Keen attention to detail with strong mathematical and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Able to identify and understand anomalies in large data sets.
  • Able to build relationships across the team, department, vendors, and clients.
  • Proactive approach demonstrated by providing regular project timeline and budget updates.
  • Experience leading Omnichannel Media Planning across multiple Retail Media Networks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver effective media strategies and plans using research tools, historical client data, and knowledge of the media landscape and innovations.
  • Research, develop, and share POVs on new client opportunities.
  • Build relationships with clients and work seamlessly throughout campaign development and implementation, resolving issues related to direction, goals, and budgets.
  • Translate media strategies into tactical plans that achieve client objectives and fit within budget.
  • Create strong relationships with Retail Media Network partners and stay current on relevant upcoming offerings.
  • Negotiate with vendor partners to obtain media availability, placement, advantageous rates, and added value.
  • Act as a liaison between the media and account team to ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met.
  • Analyze and report results of media campaigns.
