About this role

This role supports the Account Manager in driving sales and managing key client relationships within the advertising and creative agency sector. The Account Executive acts as a vital link between the agency and its clients, ensuring seamless communication and execution of account strategies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting customer visits to gather insights, following up on sales orders, and identifying client needs to propose tailored solutions. The role also involves collecting feedback on competitor activities and collecting payments to maintain healthy receivables aging.

Working closely with the Account Manager, this position helps convert prospects into Marketing Qualified Prospects (MQPs) and ultimately into long-term customers. The Account Executive also assists in evaluating and analyzing customer complaints to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Ability to identify customer needs and propose solutions.
  • Experience with sales order follow-up and account management.
  • Skill in evaluating and analyzing customer complaints.
  • Proficiency in forecasting and providing input to support sales planning.
  • Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities within accounts.
  • Experience in collecting payments and managing receivables within credit limits.
  • Familiarity with converting prospects to Marketing Qualified Prospects (MQPs).
  • Knowledge of competitor activity monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer visits and relay outcomes to the Account Manager.
  • Follow up with assigned customers to assist the Account Manager in securing sales orders.
  • Identify customer needs and propose possible solutions.
  • Assist in evaluating and analyzing customer complaints.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Collect payments to maintain receivables aging and DSO ratios within approved credit limits.
  • Assist in converting prospects to Marketing Qualified Prospects (MQPs) and later into customers.
  • Collect feedback on competitor activities and relay to the Account Manager to update competitor profiles.
