WEFRA LIFE, a leading healthcare advertising agency, is seeking a Junior Media Buyer to join their Media Buying team. This role focuses on purchasing and booking ad placements for print and digital B2B campaigns, supporting the agency's mission as a driving force in the healthcare market.

In this position, you will handle the end-to-end booking process, from communicating with media partners and internal units to managing purchase orders and production schedules. You will ensure smooth workflows between clients, publishers, and production by tracking deadlines and documenting all transactions in systems like EasyJob.

Working alongside 19 colleagues at our Neu-Isenburg or Munich locations, you will collaborate closely with the Media Planning team. The environment is team-oriented with flat hierarchies, where ideas can flow freely and interdisciplinary support from strategists, creatives, and data scientists is the norm.

Requirements

  • Interest in media buying, advertising, and the healthcare market.
  • Basic knowledge of print and digital media processes and booking systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing order data and production timelines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and willingness to learn internal booking systems like EasyJob.
  • Fluency in German (spoken and written) for client and partner communication.

Responsibilities

  • Together with experienced colleagues, take on the purchase and booking of ad placements and the placement of ads in print and digital media, including careful entry and dispatch of media orders in the booking system.
  • Maintain ongoing, trust-based dialogue with contacts at publishers and media partners as well as internal units.
  • Process and review order confirmations and purchase orders, document orders, and keep all transactions transparent in systems such as EasyJob.
  • Manage production schedules, dispatch deadlines, and print material, ensuring smooth processes between client, publisher, and production.
  • Handle invoice and credit processing from review to forwarding as part of daily tasks.
  • Maintain and update client conditions and ensure correct implementation of agreements.
