About this role
The Account Executive drives revenue growth by selling Clear Channel Outdoor's broad range of digital and printed inventory to local and national advertisers. This role meets and exceeds sales goals through direct customer outreach and high-level agency contacts, developing and maintaining long-term advertising relationships with comprehensive proposals and competitive pricing.
The Account Executive prospects for new business through outside sales activities, obtaining orders and contracts while away from the office. They regularly accompany clients on market tours to showcase outdoor inventory, deliver proof of performance, and determine project pricing based on management guidelines while negotiating fees with clients.
Working closely with creative, operations, marketing, and finance staff, the Account Executive ensures customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the account. They communicate and coordinate with Ad Ops and other internal departments to deliver seamless campaign execution, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams on proposals and pricing structures.
The role offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with advertisers and achieve revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Account Executives who demonstrate strong account management and consultative selling can advance within the organization by driving new business and cultivating existing client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years of sales experience or other relevant work experience preferred.
- Five (5) + years of sales experience preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of business-to-business and progressive sales experience preferred.
- Knowledge of territory is preferred.
- Skilled in working closely with customers to develop and cultivate client relationships to grow accounts.
- Sales achievement with experience in consultative or 'needs' based selling techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
Responsibilities

- Ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating all aspects of the account in cooperation with creative, operations, marketing, and finance staff.
- Determine project pricing based on management guidelines and negotiate fees with clients.
- Oversee projects from start to finish and ensure client satisfaction, delivering proof of performance.
- Accompany clients on market tours to showcase outdoor inventory.
- Communicate and coordinate with Ad Ops and other internal departments.
