About this role

Ogilvy, part of WPP, is seeking an Account Executive for the PR & Influence corporate communication department in our Madrid office. We are looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience in a public relations agency, a strong command of English, and a passion for media relations and writing.

Your day-to-day will involve daily contact with corporate media and influencers, as well as writing and translating press materials such as press releases, media alerts, dossiers, and product fact sheets. You will also support the preparation and execution of communication plans and new business pitches, monitor media coverage, and help manage events and vendor relationships.

You will join a collaborative team that values organization, attention to detail, and a team-player mindset. Experience in internal communication is a plus. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a public relations agency.
  • Degree in Journalism or Public Relations.
  • Very good level of English (both written and spoken).
  • Organized, team player with passion for detail.
  • Experience in internal communication is valued.
  • Strong media relations and writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Daily contact with corporate media and influencers (economic, general news, CSR).
  • Write and translate press materials fluidly between English and Spanish, including press releases, media alerts, dossiers, and product fact sheets.
  • Support the preparation and execution of communication plans and new business pitches.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile results reports.
  • Assist with event management and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain organized workflows and collaborate effectively within the team.
