About this role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Account Director to lead client relationships, drive business growth, and oversee the successful delivery of integrated marketing and communications campaigns. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic leadership to internal teams while ensuring the delivery of innovative, high-quality work across digital and traditional channels.

Day-to-day, you will serve as the primary client contact on strategic, creative, and resource-related matters, developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships. You will lead integrated marketing strategies aligned to client objectives, scoping digital projects, estimating resources and budgets, and guiding clients through evolving programmatic advertising landscapes.

You will lead, coach, and develop account management team members, fostering strong cross-functional collaboration across departments. The role requires a commercially minded leader who combines strategic thinking, creativity, and strong relationship management skills to drive exceptional client outcomes.

This is an opportunity to drive organic account growth and support new business development initiatives while maximizing account profitability. You will represent and champion client business within the agency, inspiring creative teams and ensuring alignment with business objectives throughout project lifecycles.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in Account Management within an advertising, marketing, or communications agency
  • Previous experience at Account Director level
  • Experience managing global and local clients
  • Proven experience leading integrated and cross-channel marketing initiatives
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong presentation and proposal development skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
  • Excellent client relationship management skills

Responsibilities

  • Drive organic account growth and support new business development initiatives
  • Monitor account financial performance, billing, forecasting, and budget management
  • Lead presentations and secure client buy-in for creative ideas and campaigns
