About this role

Amazon Advertising is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for brand advertisers, agencies and entrepreneurs. This is a prospecting sales role in our Local Ads Business, driving both advertiser diversification and revenue.

You will prospect advertisers through local advertising agencies, close and launch advertiser campaigns, and work to renew churned advertisers. The role requires subject matter expertise in local advertising ecosystems and digital advertising solutions.

Our environment is very fast-paced and requires someone highly enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, flexible, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams across multiple locales. The ideal candidate thrives in a constantly evolving setting and has a strong track record of developing and executing local ad campaigns.

This role offers the opportunity to influence the future of local advertising while building and maintaining a network of relationships with local advertisers and agencies. You will help them navigate complex situations and earn trust through superior interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of marketing, brand advertising, media sales or online advertising experience
  • Close work with senior advertisers and agency stakeholders
  • Subject matter expertise in local advertising ecosystems and digital advertising solutions
  • Strong track record of developing and executing local ad campaigns
  • Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships with local advertisers and agencies
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust with advertisers and their agencies
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Prospect advertisers and local agencies in an assigned US territory
  • Bring digital advertising solutions to local advertisers, leading customers to utilize authenticated localized reach at scale
  • Close and launch advertisers' campaigns
  • Work to renew churned advertisers
  • Develop and manage key local relationships
  • Hit active advertiser and revenue targets
  • Respond effectively to local market needs, advertiser feedback, and competitive positioning
