About this role

The Account Director is a leadership position within the Account Team at On Board Experiential. This role delivers an exceptional level of service and execution of programs on behalf of clients. The position is responsible for generating and expanding client accounts and relationships through strategic oversight.

Day-to-day work involves end to end project management on high profile large scale complex programs. The Account Director offers creative and strategic solutions to deliver on program KPIs while managing budgets and resource utilization. A comprehensive understanding of clients’ business needs and competitive landscape is essential.

The agency maintains offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and NYC while partnering with brands such as Nike, Meta, JPMorgan Chase, OpenAI, and Stripe. Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of clients’ business needs and competitive landscape.
  • Experience delivering end to end project management on high profile large scale complex programs.
  • Ability to generate and expand client accounts and relationships.
  • Skill in managing program budgets and resource utilization for financial and operational performance.
  • Capacity to provide creative and strategic solutions that deliver on program KPIs.
  • Experience supervising account team members and ensuring programs align with client objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to clients by translating business objectives into integrated experiential and marketing solutions that drive measurable impact and long-term brand growth.
  • Demonstrate strategic thought leadership through insightful analysis of client business objectives and developing innovative solutions.
  • Partner with creative strategy and cross-functional teams to develop audience insights, brand positioning and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead and supervise client activations to ensure seamless planning, development and execution with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and supervise account personnel such as Account Managers, Account Coordinators, and external teams.
  • Develop and manage program SOWs ensuring resources, budgets, timelines, and deliverables remain aligned with contractual agreements.
  • Critically evaluate program performance and offer strategic solutions to optimize client budgets and internal resource allocation.
  • Provide oversight of program budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance on large scale programs.
